Why not do psychological tricks using the audience, make them think their in control when actually you are ..... it need not be psychological literally but you can make it seem so at the very least

In a way that's right @Stu-pendous it is distracting and you can miss small things ..... But people who really want to get it right can and may choose to ignore it till the end of the trick atleast

Maybe its just me or its the place I'm from but here people don't really get distracted by tattoo's mainly cause they feel their objective is to foil the trick rather than to enjoy it I myself have two one on my right arm and the other on my left but you cant really see them so i cant say...
