Wednesday Game Night: Translator Fails - Erdnase Edition

Love your choice of book. I’m afraid I’ve gotta copy you and do the same. Even though, my favorite Erdnase quotes aren’t exactly wisdom and tips, just some knowledge about gambler’s that I find interesting. I love that channel. Even before reading this part, it kinda reminded me of that. I was...

Saturday Night Contest - Happy Thanksgiving!

Well I’m really grateful for having such an amazing family that has given me everything they could, and supported me through my life. I owe them my success. I’m grateful to be studying medicine at one of the best universities in my country, when many people my age didn’t even get accepted at a...

    In the olden days ...

Yeah, I’ve been wondering why I’ve not heard of him recently. He was a really helpful person here in the forums.

    Questions

Well, you know people that many magicians in this forum have most likely never heard of. People like DOC and Mr. Z are as unheard of to normal magicians as Fred Kaps and Max Malini are to the tabled move monkey.

    MY FORUMIVERSARY

I really missed your posts. A few months after I started checking the forums daily you became inactive. But I really love your writing and I really hope you start writing again. Happy forumiversary my friend.

    Questions

1)I think it’s a bit over 3.5 years now. I mean I don’t care much for magic as its performance aspect, and tbh don’t know that many tricks. But I do love learning sleight of hand with cards, tabled stuff mainly. 2)My aunt bought me that classic transposition of the ball to the cup (I forgot its...

Well, the said website is actually using it for their own profit. That’s the problem here.

    Cardistry high

Man, you don’t get it do you? Stuff like Ben Earl’s less is more are available both in PDF and Paper, and you need to pay almost the same price for the pdf version when you’re buying it from Ben or someone he has approved. Now if you find the same pdf for free or a price that is much cheaper, it...

    Cardistry high

Just look at the other stuff in it and compare the price with the other “legal” providers. For instance the bottom deal by jason england sells for 15.00 $ here at theory11, and it should be more or less the same with the other retailers as well, but as you can see, this site is selling it for...

    A few good moves ...

I’ve watched Shade at least 3 times, but it has almost no mucking in it except for the mcmillan switch. The other stuff are typical stuff that almost every tabled card handler can do to some extent, and are presented in a lot of places, including shade.

I don’t know the names, but I can More or less do them both.

    A few good moves ...

Kinda looks like Daniel Madison’s handling on the McMillan. I guess he teaches it in his channel.

    Magic over text

Tequila hustler can be done over phone as well. It’s not the most impactful thing to do, but it’s definitely a good thing to add to your own mentalism routine if that’s what you’re interested in.

What’s your favorite trick or routine?

No, I always try to avoid doing a Zarrow, as it can never be perfected. It’s kind of like a push through but much more simple and really clean. There are a lot of good stuff in that book, but this shuffle is worth the price of that complete book
