I would "summon" the card with a dupe and let her "digest the situation"
What if your performing for a famous magician for a big break and you lost your cards.
The display needs a way to flow into place. For a decent flourish or display the packets shouldn't be taken away from "the action" or where the flourish is happening, to be put into place. It takes a lot of practice and learning to develop personal flourishes/displays. But in no way should you...
I agree, focus more on the cards as opposed to you. If need be edit the song to fit the moves. The moves were good but a bit repetative. Doing the same move or effect consecutivly isn't good if you are showing differenciation in your video. Other than that good work.
I agree, it's something to work on, usually card productions are something quicky, and flashey, something that can easily be performed in a routine. Keep working, somehow speed it up
Strengthen your hands, once you do then you will have much more control over the cards and their speed, for me it took me a couple of days I think, I learned this move a long time ago so I can't remember but keep practicing.
Everyone is going to give out hate comments no matter what the effect or cardistry, just look past them and use them as constuctive critacism, don't give up.
I think maybe keep the same concept but attack it from a different angle. The angles don't look right and it is difficult to see the "snake in it" from the side. Keep working
What a lot of people do is clamp their fingers together with their thumb, it gives sufficient "moisture" but not so much that it affects the rest of your flourish. Aka: sweat it up, along with balance
Humans naturally look at the negative standpoint of things. What ever the "other person has that I don't", or "what I can't do as opposed to what I can." Being able to get past those thoughts, is what separates magic from more than just a hobby.
You have to push yourself past "what good I am...
