    Left or right handed?

I'm left-handed at everything, and I love it. :D As for fans being blank when you do them left-handed, I have a great solution to that problem: learn to fan in both hands. I did. :p -Vince

    Hands are just too...

I'm sorry, but that picture had to have been edited down a bit. His entire hand almost fits into just my palm, and I'm 15. Plus, I own his notes, and his hands don't look quite as small on those. But as for small hands, your hands will grow over time as you get older, and the practice will...

    New to Cardistry/Flourishing? Click here!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! I'll be adding more sections tomorrow. :D Hmmm, good question. The System is a good place to get some good two-handed cut concepts, but the problem is that you need to know the Sybil cut and the Revolution cut before you buy it. Also, the teaching is a...

    New to Cardistry/Flourishing? Click here!

Hey everyone, First off, you might be asking... What is Cardistry/Flourishing? For this, read The Cardistry FAQ. Another common question for any beginner is, "are there many places to learn flourishing? Where do I start?". To answer those questions, yes, there are many places to learn...

Please use the "Search" feature in the future, this question has been answered before. :) Start with Xtreme Beginnerz, then learn and become at least pretty good at everything on here that you want to learn, then buy either: The System OR The Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes...

    DnD bloopers

As Gravytrain said, The System has bloopers. But it doesn't have live performances. -Vince

How much practice does it take?

Yeah, I would recommend doing schoolwork at school. :) -Vince

I wasn't talking about his original moves. The 3c guys often teach classic and sometimes published moves as well, and those you need to be careful of, because there is a 95% chance that they will be taught incorrectly. I wasn't talking about the teaching, I was talking about the material. It's...

Be careful about YouTube. Most people there teach things rather incorrectly. -Vince

How much practice does it take?

Remember the meaning of the word "Master". When you master a move, it means (in this case) that you not only can do it as good or better than the creator, but it also means that you can bring something new to the move. Some original style-like touch. -Vince

I would put your #4 in the #2 place. I would not recommend going to The Trilogy right after Xtreme Beginnerz, too steep of a gradient. I would also recommend having the Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes in there somewhere, it's an awesome book with SO MUCH material. :D -Vince

How much practice does it take?

Nooooooooo! YouTube is the WORST place to learn card moves, 90% of the time the moves are taught REALLY incorrectly. Horrible place to learn stuff. I wrote an essay on conceptual thought as it applies to card handling a while back. I should post that. :D -Vince

    I have a Cardistry / Flourishing question.

The self-standing square was actually printed in Genii magazine, I'm pretty sure. -Vince

Work with XB until you've learned everything you want to from it, then I would say get The System, since you're interested in multi-packet cuts. -Vince

    Help, What Is This Cut?

The companion DVDs are not teaching the DVDs. They only show the moves being performed, not taught. They are meant to go along with the book, to help you get an idea of what the moves look like when they are performed. The companion DVDs also contain extra tips and whatnot. -Vince
