In front of the mirror....:D . All joking aside I would read as much as possible and practice and grow into your own character. Try to take from as many of the old timers and new comers of magic blend and mix and all that good stuff.

I would meet Jason England. Reason being, he signed my The Expert at the Card Table book. Also his unparalleled knowledge of the conjuring arts.

I personally would have to go with the Ambitious Card Routine. Very easy to understand that you put a card in the middle of the deck and it comes up to the top under increasingly impossible conditions.
