I would look into some paul harris work. I would think that a coffee shop would be perfect atmosphere for his work. the right setting to preserve the moment of astonishment... in TA there's also The Weirdling which is a coffee card effect.

I agree that magic is an art, never denied that. That's what brought me to it. But in terms of advancing the art. The next step is convincing the audience that it's an art, and they have yet to be convinced.
