There's nothing wrong with Art of Astonishment 3, I don't have this volume and therefore, I don't want to recommend books or magic effects that I don't have. I'm thinking of getting the final volume for my birthday this year.

Without knowing your current skill level and your style, it's very hard for us to advise you in the direction. I'm going to give you effects that works for me in the real world but these might not fit your style, try to find some effects that you think will benefit you most in the long run...

This is an easy question :) 1.) Deck of Cards, of course 2.) Bills for five and one transpo 3.) Okito Voodoo Doll, the best levitation effect ever 4.) 2 or 3 rubberbands 5.) Powerball 60 Mentalism effect

X-ray is a good effect as well, but I'd recommend the invisible deck. Try both of these effects out and you'll see that both of this effect pretty much elicit the same reactions. I like X-ray but never perform it at a paying gig since there's a chance of this effect going wrong.

May I ask which video of mine have you seen of me perfoming this effect? I agree with you that in my earlier videos that I posted (September and October), my presentation for this effect is very mediocre and I present this effect too much as a trick. Looking back at them, I'm planning to delete...
