i havent done a performance in a coffee shop before. but i do know that they are really laid back and relaxed. so i would suggest to keep the tricks more laid back. and the list you gave i think does that. and with crazy mans cuffs id suggest maybe adding slink from daniel garcias bent touch...

I dont see why people bash E. My roots in magic came from E and most of the tricks i perform i got from E. Both T11 and E are great sites. Sure I dont do much on the E fourms but i dont use the fourms much on here either. I even remember hearing that JB started on E.

well if your just starting out id get Genesis v1 because it has all the basics in the dvd. good teaching and a lot of small tips in it. i dont know much on the trilogy because i dont own it. But i'd go for Genesis becasue it has all the starting out knowledge.

Id have to say that one effect would be Stop by Daniel Garcia. I like the idea and a reaction it could get. but how its done im still working on it and i wouldnt give the effect justice.

I was thinking about how Anate works. I've seen its only been done in person. then i got to thinking how it would work over the internet. So i tried it out a few times. And im surprised it works well. I just thought i would share this.

This effect is a neat little improptu trick. The effect. The performer has a rubber band and a pen. The performer hold the band between his index and thumb, Now he puts the pen through the band and then slowly the pen melts through the rubber band. the band and pen can now be handed out...

you must not of studied to much into mentalism. if you did you would see strong mentalism can come from cards.
