    1st Edition Guardians - Cheating?

lol Yes it is absolutely possible. E does it with nearly every deck they release. And JB and WH do have some experience in this dept, so you would think that with this much experience, one could avoid wasting money on a bad batch of cards. However, I like to give people the benefit of...

    Conspiracy Against Coin Magic

Ah, Canada's had lots of different quarters for a while now, and it's not a big deal. > oooo, we even have different colored paper money! 0.o ;)

    Banachek's PSI Vol. 4

The superman coin bend is really good. The same coin is borrowed, signed and bent all in front of their eyes. - It really is the same coin. however, It appears more as a feat of strength, than a feat of the mind. If you want a melting coin effect, you can do Morgan's closer (also taught on...

    Justin Millers Christmas Contest...

Now that it's over, just thought I'd post my sources and check to see if anyone else had the same. Mostly curious about the "underground" video of silver dream>> I was looking at the one at the depot (http://magicvideodepot.com/ - search 'justin' I got the blooper reel from youtube...

My Buddies and I's Honest Review of TnR

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you only have to do the setup once for a number of performances? So...now that you have "done the setup", do you not have a gimmick to use repeatedly "nearly impromptu"? So if the effect is better, cleaner etc., and you have finished the hard part.... tell...

Can You Sign the Card Right Across the Face? An Essay On Proving Your Magic.

I like the essay, but it's not complete. Some effects do need a signed object. Take the nesting boxes for example. I make a coin vanish and when the boxes are opened there is a coin inside. Tada. If it looks impossible to get acoin into those nesting boxes, they will likely (not always - but...

Changing My Techniques (Aaron Fisher's Tips)

I don't know your technique, but often spectators will see something fishy (like a pinky break) and NOT say anything. But they see it and notice something is odd. That may not be a problem for you. Perhaps get a magician friend to watch and critique your handling. (I need to do that more...

    Torn by Daniel Garcia

Thanks for the video. I really like TORN. You are a bit fidgety at the key points, but that will get smoother with time. And you flashed big time at the end. Perhaps re shoot with a new angle. J

    FROSTBITE by Adam Grace

Looks interesting. I can only think of one way to instantly freeze an object, but it would be really noisy (and obvious). If his getup was quiet and subtle, it would be well worth the money for an interesting effect that is a bit different. j

    Jerry's Nuggets Question

heh, they should print some on regular (new) bike stock, just so we can all look cool. ;)

    Are laymen really impressed?

Like I said before, XCM is entertaining in it's own right, with or without 'magic'. A magician does not need 'XCM' to look credible. I've never seen Burger whip out a XCM move... I think magicians do appreciate it more because of reasons already stated. That said, XCM can sometimes move...

    Are laymen really impressed?

heh. I would have to agree to an extent. It's okay to be a "juggler" of cards. But I think it can be a really elegant way of performing magic when you use XCM, like the Bucks teach. So, magic without it is great, with it is also great, and XCM solo is also great. (But if your trick...

    Coin through pinball machine glass

or perhaps if the plunger was metal, you could magnetize it with a big rare earth magnet, so that the ball would stick to the plunger. Then I suppose you would have to make that into a trick, otherwise you would just have a ball stuck to a plunger....

    Coin through pinball machine glass

Perhaps a PK ring if there is an opening in the glass somewhere... Also it may wreck the machine, that would be good to check into... ...not a cool trick when you have to pay to fix it... j
