I don't know your technique, but often spectators will see something fishy (like a pinky break) and NOT say anything. But they see it and notice something is odd. That may not be a problem for you. Perhaps get a magician friend to watch and critique your handling. (I need to do that more...

Looks interesting. I can only think of one way to instantly freeze an object, but it would be really noisy (and obvious). If his getup was quiet and subtle, it would be well worth the money for an interesting effect that is a bit different. j
