I just thought I'd chime in here and say that I've never had a watch break on me during a steal. ever. it should never happen unless you don't understand good technique. you even said yourself that you're not an expert. stop trying to act like one.

This problem can be solved a couple different ways. You can get a job and use that money to fund your magic. You could also simply buy less stuff. Aak yourself how often you would actually use the effect. Rarely buy single trick DVDs. Buy a book (do this one anyway)
