    Just a quick question

If nothing else, he's great at marketing himself. Like RK Said, at $60 it's probably not worth it, I'll have to check my Walgreens, $30 might not be too bad a price to see what's really inside, if anything I can have fun with the tiny cups and balls set.

May 2009 :: YouTube : Angel or Demon

Land mines don't kill people, people who bury land mines do... I think I've said it at least once, but exposure, while it does seem to hurt the creator...it doesn't. I understand that buying from a creator does profit them and in essence make their livelihood, that's great, it's why I buy from...

    Cerca Trova Ideas

Alright. March of this year was the last given idea, and no Cerca Trova for...a long time. I think this last idea by Mark Efferent is a great topic, Logic in magic. Why do some tricks fail? Are they bad tricks, too confusing, not logical? How can we make our magic both simple to follow and...

Saturday Night Contest : What You Think

Holiday themed magic trick. It can be any winter holiday (I'm sure there are a few people who don't celebrate christmas on the boards) and can be done with any objects (cards, coins, everyday objects...) but has to have some connection with the holidays. Judged based on creativity (presentation...

    My Boss Likes DRESSCODE!

That, in my opinion, is a great use for Dresscode. You won't be able to do it for your boss again, but he'll never forget it. This isn't a showpiece in and of itself (Calen's dress shirt/tie change comes close...I had some ideas about that) but a great piece of spontaneous magic that catches...

    X-Mas presents...

Bobo's for Coins, as is already said. Cards are tricky, depends on what you already own and what you enjoy about cards. If you're a move monkey there are books for that, if you prefer elegant tricks whose methods are simple...there are books for that as well. A little more detail would make the...

    Dress Code Presentation

Force a brand on someone (Coke, Pepsi, etc...) and have the wrong shirt on and change it...or change a plain one into the right one...also done with the other things he mentioned (colleges, high schools, etc).

    Success or Failure?

Two a week sounds good, just make sure they compliment each other well so you can practice them together. This is also a good excercise in routining, pick two and create similar presentational hooks to link them together (Gambling, Prediction/mind reading, tricks that elephants showed you...) so...

    Sponge Ball Magic

It's toolbox: http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=S9213 ^That's where I learned all of my spongeball moves, tons of them in there. It also comes with props.

    Dress Code Presentation

I had to stop myself...seeing as I might buy dresscode, I kind of want to keep some of my ideas to myself (I'm sure someone else will think of one of them). Maybe have a shirt that doesn't really match the button up/jacket and say something like "I was in a rush this morning, this definitely...

What tricks do you guys normally do at a party?

Stick with what you already know. If you want to do coin tricks, do coin tricks, if you want just cards-do cards.

2010 ~ 2011 What have you become? What will you become?

This year has been about the same as the last as far as performing frequency goes, I'm working more now (yay second job...neither as a magician) but still find time to practice and perform. I have been creating more this year than I have in years past...lack of money to buy new products will do...

Saturday Night Contest : What You Think

How about creating a magic trick where the effect is great, but the props are inherently funny to begin with. Maybe a vanish and reproduction of a rubber chicken or instead of a deck of cards that are all different you're using blank index cards for an ambitious sequence. Funny props, real...

    My Ambitious Card Routine

Too long. Not magical. Looked like sleight of hand, not an ambitious card rising over and over. Most magical part, 1:17 (ish). You show it on top, put it in the middle, with no movements you show it on top again. Practice more, take out all the hard phases and make it simple. Simple is good.

FIVE New Releases - The Holiday Contest 2010!

You have to name it something, and it may as well be something that won't immediately come up in google. If he called it 'shirt changing thingy' or 'smoke from mouth gimmick' then anyone who sees the effect can track it down faster.

    The Revelation

Considering at least one spectator was holding a pen in the video, they think of it...and write it down...and then you have the power to tell them what it is!

    Card Tricks Are BORING!

I think Draven is speaking beyond the fact that you can make someone go 'wow...cool'. Jugglers can mesmerize their audience tossing flaming torches and playing hackey sack at the same time...but it's not magic. Color changes are neat, and can greatly enhance a performance, but they're not tricks...

    Card Tricks Are BORING!

By being an entertaining person? Card tricks in and of themselves are boring. Even the visual ones are only impressive for a flicker of time and then the effect wears off. The person performing the trick will determine how entertaining it really is. Watching some random person on the internet...

When did you start doing magic, and why?

I grew up watching magic specials on TV (Copperfield, Worlds Greatest Magic...anything I could watch) and loved it. I learned a few simple tricks (you guys remember before youtube? I do...) from friends and worked out ways to do some that I had seen on tv. I started taking it seriously and...

    rizer review

As all magicians do, hope for some big new revolutionary idea, even when every product disappoints us for months on end we search for that new thing.
