Trick Help : Opening on Control

The version that Houchin uses is Mondo Nifty Invisible Palm. Eric Mead made the suggestion of just using any four cards. This idea simplified the handling as you did not need to keep track of the ace's. Also the climax is at the right time as it is the finale, and in a strange way validates...

Idea for a New Trick Deck

Andy Nyman has something similar in his effect Dead of Night however I will not go into the exact similarities and differences. But there are a few

    Marking Cards ....

Daniel's Blood is nice. If you want something for bikes that is amazingly simple to read (helps if you are using a 'stooge') I would recommend Either of Spelmann's NAMD systems they are basically the same thing and they can be found in The Chapter's of Marc Spelmann and 101108.

    The Wheel Change

The neck tie method is so clean to get into especially as a last or second last phase of an ACR

    The Wheel Change

I think the wheel change is highly practical. The db Spin change on the other hand is a nightmare. The only bad angle on the Wheel change is directly below your hand.

    Help With Crediting

There is one on Genii about most card tricks. However your best bet is to ask some of older pro's and ask them if they have seen it before.

    DL as control

The DL makes up most phases of most people's ACR's. So yes the DL is an amazingly deceptive control. The only thing that I have a problem with is why would you shuffle the deck, and if you needed to why not use a overhand shuffle control.

    Presentation Idea For Biddle Trick

Most laymen are actually quiet smart and its a huge mistake to treat them otherwise. I don't give them the option of thinking I could be holding a break by holding the deck at the fingertips and making very deliberate actions to ensure the deck is square. Also riffling the deck gives them...

    Tagged by Rich Ferguson

you have to make the gimmick yourself, however it is really easy and takes a total of a minute or two. The effects that he teaches do not require the tagging procedure at all and work really well. Is it worth $30 I'd have to say yes as it teaches you a lot and the 'tagging' is only a small...

    Bad Experience With Wayne Houchin

Did you use paypal? You can always lodge a complaint with them. One thing you want to do is try to be a little more mature in your emails though. I am not saying you are but from your post you are sounding like you are whinging. I know you are a little annoyed about the experience but the...

    Regarding of Cover Pass Materials

As Glen said a slip cut with a break between the two packets would work. Although it seems like a little bit of a waste of time. I can understand why you want to do it however it is far more practical to do a cut with a classic pass to maintain order in the deck.

    Presentation Idea For Biddle Trick

When I use to perform the Biddle trick, I would always bluff pass the card to control it. Then make sure the deck was perfectly square and tell the spectator I could estimate where their card was. I would proceed to do a classic pass cut handing them what they thought was the top half but was...

    Mentalism?

Dee cannot agree more Paul's work is unreal. The first time I read the Brook Test is was laughing so hard. The method is amazing and it just makes you want to perform the effect. I understand that this would be stupid but I had to show the Mrs. and let me say she did not talk to me for the...

    Mentalism?

I agree 100% with what Steerpike and RS said. If we were to take your example of forcing a card and 'reading'' their mind. Yes it can be a very powerful effect however it is also a very easy trap to fall into. A lot of magician's who try to dabble in mentalism get stuck with it. But to...

Which bluff pass version do YOU think works best and goes unnoticed?

I prefer LePaul's because you do not see the card whereas the Nowhere pass you see the spectator's card. However the Advanced Nowhere Pass accommodates for this.

How to carry magic for restaurants...

I use a small carry on travel suitcase. It makes holds a lot and I have access to everything whenever I need it, minus the sketch pads but they go on top so they are removed first anyway.

A easy and smooth color cange.

Basically it is Looy Sminoff's Flippant move. However you don't need to move your hand up you can easily do it with a sharp downward motion.
