I agree but sometimes you cant always just see a explanation then perform it for lay people then get good at it, if that was what you meant. When I perform for a laymen its like my tryout phase, I have practiced, now lets see if I am good under pressure and sort of nervous.

Yeah I think you should go with witness as a closer, and you can also talk about evidence and how under security is cannot be changed, dont actually say you are going to change the card in the zip lock just talk about evidence etc etc. I think you should just enjoy your time out there.

Well you get the idea, try doing something visual and when someone looks interested hop in there and do your routine. Also try to relate your tricks, like a sort of story. I normally perform at school, so i dont know if this would help but what i do is I have 5 tricks example 2 card tricks, 1 coin,1 mentalism,1 levition and I like to also ask the spectator some times, whats you favorite type of magic and I give them the optitions, they like cards i perform cards...

Yeah there is not difference in quality, just the number and suite is bigger. I use the jumbo index for stage magic, so everyone can see.
