I have had a deck of Legends now for about a week and I'm not quite sure how to feel about them. I was wondering, is it just me or were they a bit of a let down? What are your views?
As far as books go I have The Royal Road and Expert Card technique. I am horrid at the pass and palming which take away a lot of things I'm sure. I do have some time to find and practice some new material. I had thought about Blank Night by John Archer being something I can do. Also some sort of...
As the owner put it he wants the whole audience to see the effects but I have no stage and won't be farther than 15 feet away from them. It will be one or two 15 to 20 min sets between music acts and he knows I do not have professional experience. As soon as I can get something filmed I will...

I personally will not call them ugly, they just don't appeal to me. We all have different tastes and that's why there are so many different designs and finishes and stocks and even sites.
*stands back looking at all this* Steerpike and Draven have a point here. The idea of the deck as a way to "reinvent the standard deck" seems terrible, but as a new card game or games seems better. These two know their stuff...I'd listen.
