In a snap change I feel that there are 2 moments of misdirection, the snap and then the shock of the card changing into another card. It may be a brief moment but you should be able to clean up with the initial shock.

The thing that helped me was 1. Practice with close family. They are the most honest. 2. Practice on video tape. 3. Confidence building exercises. 4. Just doing it.

Second, anywho I have sit in on some lectures on improv, the real only problem I have is not letting loose, I am very subconscious at times. Furthermore I did find it helpful to create a character script outline, with subtext before we did the improv show at a thespian convention once.

Yeah this lineup of tricks will not cut it. Even if you go at Hans klok speed there isn't much relationship of the tricks. Maybe you should focus on one of the bigger tricks like Voodoo box and bisection Perform one and maybe have a tie in with a smaller effect.

I don't know this but it may be helpful if you are going to improv to have an outline of things you want to hit when you improv.

I have only done improv for 1 year and kind of have a grasp on timing and delivering a funny line. Thanks for the recommendations of people I could study to learn more about comedy so far very helpful.
