Hard hitting effects aren't hard hitting without patter. Although, for now, it would have to be Kostya Kimlat's "Satan's Monte", from his PDF/E-book entitled "Card Work, Card Play". Great closer, I use it whenever I have the chance. I highly recommend it, most of the effects in there are TRUE...

Fake. Drawn, photoshopped, etc. He means the image has either been altered or created from scratch and it is not a real one. While I will not attest to what it is, I must say, if that's a real spring, that's a damn beauty.

The "slick foil" ones are also sold at Books-A-Million. They're one of the few retail shops I've seen with the higher quality ones, although I'm not a fan of the Bike 125s.. Backs look nice, but faces are ugly (except for the AoS) and they clump faster for me.

The Annotated Erdnase and Revelation each have extra pictures of Ortiz and Vernon (respectively) doing the move in their hands, and if they had any extra touches, pictures of those too. But only invest in one of them if you start to feel serious about Erdnase.
