They are fake. There isn't really a question about it. You could buy them just for collection reasons but that is all that they are good for. -G

As far as flourishing goes, I have pretty small hands and I can do some things that I thought I could never do. You might just have to put a little bit more practice than some others, but that shouldn't be too bad.

Hey Flex, I have found that if you do the flip when the cards are bent (after under pressure or a spring), there is less friction on the bottom card and the deck flips very cleanly. Try it out and see what you think. -G

When you apply pressure on the top of the deck with your thumb, as you fan, your thumb automatically shifts to the side. I hope this helps a bit. -G

All I can say is that this move take a ton of practice. It took me longer than the spring to get perfect. As for the answers to your questions: My curve looked really, really bad. Just getting the half circle shape took me about a month. This move took me about a month an a half to get perfect...
