Alright First off its great that youre trying the pass. I have by far the smallest hands of any magicians I have seen, smaller than the picture posted. I cant cover an entire card, I cant perform some one handed cuts (Kryptonite, thumb cut, etc), but I can sufficiantly perform the pass and palm...

The two named above are the two best already. I went to NYC for a day trip and visited both. I spent most my time in Fantasma talking and just jamming around. I also met quite a few "famous" magicians. If youre staying in NYC for a long time, there is always the Monday Night Magic shows.

the ring is suitable of course BUT 1. people cant check it freely 2. it is usually very weak and can break easily 3. ring and string is more amazing with a borrowed ring.

although its practical, I dont like it. It doesnt look as amazing to me. Sure it looks like its floating, but i still dont like the way it hovers. Im not sure about single card levitations though... DG's static is easy and its quite good when done well.

I suggest get Carney's material on Palming. You can import it into your ipod and practice all day. I garauntee itll keep you busy If you will buy something, I suggest buy something that requires a lot of practice such as card manipulation or just the hardest material you can get. I suggest Ray...

I wont talk about the routine and sleights and what not. You already know where to improve. I just want to say that a magician who is afraid to perform is as useless as a deck of cards that are stuck together. Not trying to be mean, but what is the point of learning all this if you cant use it...

no. the area in Rhode Island is actually called Providence haha. its a small townish area where Brown and RISD is.
