    USPCC Seal - New Color for Bicycles

    My thoughts exactly. They're not going to chase you regarding the colour of your deck seals, heh. In fact, I tend to use white deck seals with almost every deck (when needed), and have never come across anyone who's called me out on it. So I seriously doubt using blue deck seals will be a...

    The Main Event: A True "Astonishment"

    With my summer course ending, the new school year approaching, and the Daniel Garcia lecture taking place a few days ago, I'm actually pretty glad there hasn't been an update recently, heh. There's been so much going on, I'm not sure I would have had time to participate. But, now that...

    Spec. Cred. :: My Idea

    Just throwing this out there, since there seems to be some confusion...but you don't have to completely throw credit their way. It's like a balancing act...you did the effect "with" them, instead of just them doing it--but exactly how much credit you throw their way is where the "balancing act"...

    Spec. Cred. :: My Idea

    Sorry it took so long for me to reply again, but I was at the Daniel Garcia lecture in Toronto, heh. It was a long (and frustrating--I officially hate Toronto traffic) trip there (and back), but totally worth it! :D Anyway, a newer effect that I was thinking about was Search and Destroy by...

    Spec. Cred. :: My Idea

    You took my reference the wrong way, heh...I didn't mean it's the same as audience participation in terms of what's happening, just in it's relevance/usage by people (then again, it just may be the area I live, I suppose--cause this really doesn't sound like a "complete revamping" at all, to...

    Spec. Cred. :: My Idea

    I'm not exactly sure how that goes against the grain...it's a pretty common presentational style, from what I've heard (and do). Ranks right up there with audience participation (which Big Tiny also has...I love that effect; one of my favourites from the TA set, heh). :) Good call on not...

    Can I now tell you what I mean?

    That definitely wasn't a "bad guy" thing to say. Some of us have mentioned it in previous threads (deleted for obvious reasons), because, like you say, it needs to be said. But that was very well said; it didn't come off as rude, and covered just about everything. :)

    Do they respond?

    On a side note, there are some other magicians on here who aren't technically artists, but do frequent the forums and respond to PMs. A good example would be Dan Sperry, who has released a few things with T11, and of course with other companies (and on his own site)--he's on here quite often...

    Do they respond?

    JB and Raiker tend to respond pretty quickly, all things considered. Some artists do (Lee Asher, for example), and some don't (it really depends on if they have time). It really depends on the specific person, and if they have the time; I can't exactly make a blanket statement about the...

    Which download to get?

    I would honestly suggest against those, only because if the OP is asking advice on which 1-on-1 to get without providing any information about him or herself and his or her performing style, I would greatly question how advanced they could be at this stage. Perhaps something a little more...

    Can I now tell you what I mean?

    As an aside, I'd like to note that the grammar is somewhat improved in this post. Although you still have a ways to go with grammar/spelling/punctuations/etc, I was at least able to recognize what you were saying/asking, which is a vast improvement over your last few posts. Keep up the...

    Which download to get?

    Whichever one tickles your fancy, floats your boat, etc. Pick one that interests you, that fits your performance style, that you can see yourself doing, etc. We don't know you, what you perform, how you perform, etc, so really the only one who can make that decision is you. Most of them are...

    Saturday Night Contest - Coming Soon : An Image Competition

    Ohh, this sounds fun! Sadly, I'm heading out to the movies with my girlfriend tonight (actually that's far from a sad event, heh). Either way, good luck to those who enter! :)

    T11 should either live up to their promises, or not make those promises at all

    Hence why I suggested contacting the staff directly, whether PMing the admins, or sending in a support ticket. That is the most direct and effective way "for the T11 staff to see" your suggestion, and it comes off as less whiny. :)

    What slang dictionary do we use with magic?

    Umm...to answer your thread title, I don't use a slang dictionary to add new words to my presentation. To answer the question within the thread, I use whatever language is appropriate to my setting. If I'm with friends, I use language I would normally use with them. When with people older...

    T11 should either live up to their promises, or not make those promises at all

    Look at the date of your first source. I'm sure that at the time, that was fully the intention. But, as they went on and took on more projects (and/or projects that demanded more time), they could no longer keep the schedule of every Friday. Maybe they should indeed add "almost" in front of...

    Sitting down next to someone...

    I would suggest sponge balls. It can be done sitting, standing, surrounded, etc. And best of all, it's so versatile...you can change the specific routine so much; it's very customizable. Yeah. So sponge balls (or bunnies, if you prefer). :) Edit: Wow, I didn't read the first post very well...
