Yeah, I just re-watched it and realized how low my hand is. It isn't covering anything. This is more of the cards is slipped over than placed on. It's not very angle sensitive- only from the back and one side. I think I'll re-film it.

I think there is one called the anti gravity shift. It could be what you're looking for.

I highly recomend this book. Great material, especially if you like coins. Or cards it's still awesome

how close are you holding it to the flame. Try it from farther where there is more smoke.

try a candle. Or something with a lot of smoke. I don't own burn, but in two, he used a lighter which didn't work as well.
