the fifty cent peices are what i use, i live in america so i only paid fifty cents for it, but theyre fantastic coins, if you can find one, i recommend getting a copper penny to go with it, same size, great for copper silver stuff. but i've never worked with a 2 euro coin

i know that. that was another thing, theres no exposure of actual sleights, etc. in it. no thats how it works, thats a librarians main job (i think) to listen to patrons so that they can get a better inventory of books for their shelves. the cheating thing was if i kept it.

see the author and publisher giving consent thing was all i really needed to hear. my fears are lifted, and i'm more than comfortable asking the library to look for it.

I just used vinegar and salt to clean my coins. it worked magically. haha it could be that their 'magic' coins who grow wings and turn invisible to fly from my closed fist into someone elses. but their as shiney as if i got them straight from the mint, (maybe not but close!)
