Blaine :: "Anything Is Possible" Bottle

The proofs would be kept by the artiest, and not sold. They usually don't count them in the limited edition count.

Blaine :: "Anything Is Possible" Bottle

The whole point is lost if you make the glass around the cards. This guy doesn't do that. Also google Harry Eng. He was a bottle filler that was known for making amazingly puzzling bottle fills. Many with packs of cards.

Blaine :: "Anything Is Possible" Bottle

I love these. I thought about making one once, but never got around to the attempt. It's like a ship in a bottle for card magicians.

David Blaine - Performing Real Magic : An Image

He did stuff like this ON his specials, but it was always subtle. He filled a cup with coins for a homeless guy, and helped somebody else "win" the lottery.

An ultimate act of Jerry's Nugget loyalty?

I kind of enjoy the placement and idea of his tattoo, but I think it would have been much better with a decent card back design. I also think it looks kinda cartoony and poorly detailed. Edit: totally missed the part about getting it finished.

    Introduction + Some Questions

D+m teaches a palming method on Dangerous vol 1 that will probably work for you. Also Tally's are supposed to be in theory the same (stock & finish) as Bicycles. Bicycles are the best bang for your buck starting out. They are common, affordable, and nearly every common gaff/gimmick is made in...

    Best Coin Bending

I own the Superman, and currently have it junk boxed. I am sure it's just right for "somebody", but not me. I find it painfull to bend quarters, and that was my original goal.

    The Too Perfect Theory: Wrong?

First off, I love this thread. Second, there is no black and white, right or wrong, perfect answer to this. It is an art form personalized by the artiest. Your presentation is ment only to give the best possible entertainment value. Your personal arsenal of tricks might call for a more magical...

    d+M - Truth

I am pretty sure it has something to do with stooges and editing. I don't think its supposed to be a trick.

    New Project - Uncut Sheet

I have (had?) a plastic joker signed by The Amazing Johnathan. It was from my "crystal deck". He made a joke about how it would be harder to carry around 52 crystal balls. I hope I can find the card.

    Stereotypes

I ran into some issues with "Magic is for kids" type stuff recently. The comment that bugged me was "It's not like I am some little kid you are supposed to keep secrets from".

    David Copperfield : On YouTube

Oddly enough I was explaining to a friend the other day about how I knew exactly how he does his flying yet my brain refused to believe in those facts while watching him do it. I caught him live in Oct of 99 (i think) at Ceasers Palace. I was mostly underwhelmed. There was a french Magician...

    Who is your favorite magician/illusionist?

Penn & Teller. Without a doubt.

    The Wave of Youtubers

Well it's probably just a poor reflection of thier idols. They see who ever they idolize performing/teaching on camera and they do it as close as they can. Just because they have a common web cam doesn't mean they are fully equiped for a real world Blaine style street walking production. Also...

    The Wave of Youtubers

Most of the videos don't really have that many views. Most of the people watching them are other magicians. Youtube really doesn't bother me. I think hype is a bigger and less talked about problem than exposure. The petty infighting and tribalization is a real turnoff to true artiests, but...

    S&M - Sold Out

I hope they print more. I just came back to magic after nearly a decade. Dan & Dave, Custom Cards, and the current trend of XCM is inspirational. I hate to think I missed out on getting these cards because they weren't my first priority.

    Attention Getter

When I used to stroll random people, I would yo-yo or flick cards in the air. I'm old.

    Wrath

This is probably the most asked question. The deck is reusable (for this trick only I'd imagine). There is a few threads about it here already.

    Bicycle Fashion Back Playing Cards

I picked up all 3 packs they had. The face cards are all zoomed in looking. This makes the deck mostly one-sided. Only 22 cards aren't. I had some fun with this exploit, and I always love a good box reveal.
