I liked it, but what 1on1 was it? I've kind of been out of the loop for a while, so I didn't recognize it.

None that I know of. Sounds like all the cool ones are near the coasts. There's at least one good magic shop around here, and a lot of touristy-type shops, but other than that it's basically a magic deadzone.

I'm sure if you were determined enough you could easily make it work. Either by changing the actual switch, or by changing the position of the copped card.

I'm gonna be honest; I didn't read any of this because the changes in color were extremely annoying to me.

Where is this documented? Houdin died in 1871... which seems to me would be way too early for camera trickery to even be considered.

This isn't anything new; I've been saying these same things ever since these "Purpose Threads" started popping up.

From what I've seen (I've watched very little of the show), Criss's magic in general is very lacking. The presentation is partially there, especially in the bigger stunts, but with his close-up, I think he really flops. If he wasn't famous, I don't think he could make it as a close-up magician.

I used to spend all my money on magic, so I have a lot of old stuff. Now I spend a lot of my money on gas money and things that I actually need. So I haven't actually purchased magic in 3+ months, now. And even then, it was just a 1on1 or something small. Not having the money I used to...
