I don't really like the method. It's a bit chancy - which is not to say I'm "afraid" of 'failing'. It's a very good trick, with a decent method (if a bit overpriced), for "one of those situations".

I'm at the same stage of flourishing, by the sounds of it. I'd recommend picking up The System, Trilogy, and Dangerous: Motion. These have enough flourishes in them, combined- you could even start making your own cuts, incorporating ideas and such from these DVDs.

For flourishing, I love Wynns. (The Violet ones fan really well, and after a little use so do the red ones) For card magic, I ONLY use Bicycle (poker 808, the standard ones). They're cards that the people I perform to can easily relate to and recognize. I usually use red, it provides for more...

If your pass isn't even camera friendly, then you NEED to practice it. And slow down the shaking. Whenever you shake the cards/deck, you look like one of the seven year olds trying to do a wave change. Take it nice and slow, smooth it out.

Meh. There are much better ways to "split" or "halve" a card - ones that are angle-proof, and aren't readily obvious as to the method. Just my two cents. Nice idea, just not really practical for use.

If you look through the forums on dananddave.com, you can see that it's an April Fools' joke, lol.

Outjogged and angled as per the G.O.A.T. Change? Unless you're going to do a Herman Pass (which is obviously NOT the Classic Pass, like I said in my previous post), it's pretty near impossible to keep the "card" aligned and at the GOAT Change angle.
