    Business Cards?

It is funny that you said that about hats, wands, and rabbits because all of the guys who are over 45 or 50 that are magicians in our IBM ring have exactly those types of things on their business cards. Mine is the exact opposite. It has a logo of my initials and has the necessary...

    So Long

Oh ok. That makes more sense. Your first post made it sound like you were pissed off at someone and were "outta here", ha ha. Good luck man with your college work load. Ugh...some of the best and worst times of my life. I would definitely go back to college in a heart beat.

    Tadiko & Motas Project '09

Great stuff man. I loved it. I wish I was that good with cards but I tend to focus on all kinds of magic and don't spend much time on sleights, flourishing and such. Super video.

    Copyright Question

Great question. What if the characters names were changed just the slightest bit? Would that give you a loophole? Example: David Copperfield could be David Coppertone You get the picture.

    Business Cards?

You are going to pay a boat load of money for custom deck cards with all of your info on them. I believe you also have to purchase a minimum order that would cost a small fortune. I purchased like 1,000 business cards, single sided only, black, white and gray for around $25.00. I went to the...

Improve Your Mind: Forum Contest for the Intellectual Magician

Sounds like a great contest. Being a teacher (10 years) and soon to be administrator, I would love to read some of these. I believe Brad is a teacher as well. You could have a panel of judges to submit these essays to. One thing to be careful of though are the kids who just Google a topic...

    Friend Requests on t11

Are you kidding? You are begging for friends? I have friends on here but it doesn't matter. Everyone posts on the forums and if you need to PM someone you do.

    Magic dealer?

You may want to order bulk bicycles from Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco's, etc. You will definitely get your money's worth. I think you get 12 or 13 decks for like $14 bucks. I am not sure how much shipping it would be.

    Justin Miller on Piracy

Sciffydof made some great points. I definitely agree with the piracy getting your name out there to kids who otherwise wouldn't buy something. It definitely makes them want more material from the artist and they would be willing to go to a lecture once they know who the artist is.

    Magic Castle

Congrats to all who made it and try again for those who didn't. It may just take a little more work polishing your piece. Looking forward to seeing some of these young guys come up through the ranks.

Lessons Learned From Legerdemain - Lesson #4

Nicely put Prae. I think it is easier to understand from our stand point because we are quite a bit older than most of these posters and we've been through a lot in life thus far.

    You've Got Talent: Part 1

Once again, another great post Draven. I loved reading every bit of it. I see this time and time again at our IBM meetings. Everyone is just up there doing a trick. Nobody has a character or even tries to portray someone else. There is no emotional hook to reel you in. Maybe it is just...

Lessons Learned From Legerdemain - Lesson #4

"But it seems to me like a lot of people think they need school to get somewhere in life - false. This cracks me up. Are you serious??? Most people need an education to get a decent job and are able to perform productively, effectively, and efficiently. Whether it is pouring concrete and...
