Advice for my first magic gig?

I assume this is going to be a walkaround gig right? Well, since it's your first gig, I would recommend doing it for free or a VERY low price. It's the experience that matters, NOT the money. When an inexperienced magician (I'm not saying you're inexperienced in magic, but in the paid...

Who do you want from the T11 forums to do video performances?

I much more prefer magic than XCM as other people have pointed out. I would like to see Steve Simmons, Cory Landels, and Dana Hocking (NOW DANA)!! Mitch

    Lucky First Deck of Cards

The thing is that I started with Parlour Magic and didn't use cards frequently until 2 years into my magic. Also, a specific performances was what started my interest in magic. So this doesn't really apply to me. :) Mitch

    Daniel Madison is a thief?

I think we are missing a lot of information in this dilemma. Instead of pointing fingers and yelling names, we should wait for it to be approached by Mr. Madison. This is HIS battle, not ours. Mitch

    Tally Ho Quality?

First of all, this should be posted in the Product Questions forum. As for the Tally Ho's, I find they last longer than bikes but are a little more expensive. I see no real difference that draws me to them. Mitch

How do I go about inventing tricks?

Unfortunately, WE can't tell YOU how to create effects. It all lies within you and your creativity. What you should do is expand your creativity to new lengths! A great way of doing this is watching films that you never thought you would watch, never waking up before noon, and watching tons and...

How Do I Download The Trilogy?

What this means is that select portions of the DVD are on the 1on1 section of Theory11. The entire DVD is NOT available for download, only select tricks, sleights, and flourishes. For more info check out the Trilogy page and the Dan and Dave 1on1 section. Mitch

    Learning the pass?

It really depends on how quickly you grasp magic/sleights. It varies. It takes some people years to master the pass. I think I had it down after about a year or so! Mitch

    Learning the pass?

Ninja doesn't delve into teaching the pass as much as it teaches a routine to use the pass with. If you are simply looking to learn the pass, Pass With Care and/or On the Pass would be a much better purchase. Mitch
