    Motion. Flow and speed.

smooth=slow. it depends on the flourish. some flourishes just look so much freaking better when done at top speed. doing "what the hell happened to sybil" at top speed just looks absolutely amazing. i'd rather see brian tudor do it at his speed rather than some other flourisher slowing...

Ambitious Card - 'what sleights do you use?'

I don't dislike doubles, but I'm always hesitant to use them, because when i perform for large groups of people, there's usually one idiot: "He just turned over 2 cards and put a random card in the middle!" But, to everyone arguing against pass: -You don't need misdirection. Who the hell...

Voting starts - any trick by Dan & Dave Buck - XCMentalist vs MagicJohnny

Oh goodness gracious me. XCMentalist, do you realise that you shouldn't actually do a trick until it's thoroughly practiced? I mean, you did the movements right, but there were so many tiny errors. The double lift looked really hesitant, as if you were doing something fishy. You should...

    Live misdirection battle?

Live: in front a living, breathing, spectator or spectators Misdirection: obviously a broad term, i'll agree on a definition with whoever wants to battle, but in a general sense, it will mean: "diverting the specatator(s) attention away from a certain place at a certain time, and if not...

there is nothing you cant get in ninja 1 or 2 that you can get in books. its just passes, false table cuts, some forces, ace tricks, and some dai vernon tricks. i would recommend, if you have been doing magic for 2 years, getting Robert Giobbi's Card College
