I'd rather not. I'm not a fan boy. I don't gush over someone else's notoriety. I think it's sloppy to do so. If the guy is good, and can turn a buck by selling his merch, then more power too him. But I'm not going to squee about it.

I really wish I could expand upon my point more, however Reality One really just kinda said everything I would have, and probably better. Anything else would just be a rehash at this point.

I've got to say, among other things, I don't agree with the comment he makes about practice making perfect. Practice doesn't make perfect. Practice makes permanent, rehearsal makes perfect.

Thanks Steer, and Keo, for helping back up what I was originally getting at with this thread. I honestly thought for a second that some good insight would go to waste because people weren't getting at what I was saying. EMO... I don't know where you're coming off with a direct assault on Steer...

And even if they aren't you've got a story to tell for ages to come. That alone is worth the couple of quarters you dropped on this find. I'd put them on your shelf, and crank up the bragging rights.

Mehar's got it. I'm not trying to tell you who you can, and can't be friends with. I'm just simply saying if you want to be good at doing something, first find someone whose already good at doing it, find out what they do, why it works for them, and then emulate.

Business cards are like $35 bucks for a thousand through Kinkos for black and whites. Colors are about $135 for a thousand color printed. They usually can get the order ready to roll within 48 hours too.
