Kid's shows are their own animal. Unless you plan on doing them, I'd go with strong magic, followed by designing miracles as suggested. If you decide to go the kids show route, they will still help you.

I wear two rings while performing, one on each ring finger, and they don't interfere with what I do at all. You just need to shop around, Go to the mall. Sometimes stores like JC Penny, and Macy's will have sales, and their jewelry is usually pretty nice. You just need something that fits...

Here's the deal. In magic you have a ethics vs legality. Legally speaking, you could perform the effects for TV and not much would happen. Ethically though, you may want to ask the creators permission to perform the effect first.

Any publicity is good publicity. Make sure you ask for copy. Anytime someone prints an article on you, does an interview, or films you get a copy! That can be used later for marketing purposes. I'd also recommend doing the Princess Card trick for the video. It is stupid simple, but it kills!

Stop performing for a while. It sounds like they've seen way to much.

Unfortunately the lady lighting the torches is the company manager. It's a fire safety protocol that the performer can't light their own torches. That way if I have spilled fuel, or there is (god forbid) an accident where fuel is not where it needs to be, I can't unintentionally set the stage...
