Bend them the other way some....break them in...and then put them in a clip. Should be good to go. That is annoying though if you had just opened them and they were like that.

I also use the Alliance Gold Rubber bands but purchased them at a convention. I have no idea where the guy got them.

I get mine from my local magic shop for like 3 bucks but I don't even bother any more. Sure it makes your fans feel great but as others have mentioned....your sleights will be terrible. You may want to put some on one deck that you like to do fans with just messing around.

Go get this as soon as possible. My first magic book I ever purchased and still my favorite. Right up there with my copy of Ortiz's Strong Magic. Well worth the 20 bucks. You won't regret it.
