To me, there is no flow in any of it, and it doesn't build. What you want to do for a routine is start out strong... get your spectators interested. Then, show something a bit weaker, but still good. From there, you need to slowly build up to the Grand Finale, and leave 'em wanting for me...

I'm sorry, but from everything I've heard, Retirement Home Shows are like twice as hard as normal shows, simply because of the sicknesses, the hearing loss, sight loss, etc. I wouldn't try a "new" routine at a Retirement Home, since that venue's pretty hard even when you do have a good show...

I was watching a Dan and Dave trailer at school today (I was bored!), and somebody said it was really awesome. So I think laypeople do enjoy it to an extent, but it can get boring quickly. Sorry- forgot to add that in my original post!
