Separate the deck into suits. Then count how many in each suit. If you have a missing card, just count each card you see in the suit from ace to king to find out which is missing. (ace, two, three, four, six... oops; I'm missing a six). The cards don't have to be in order... just look through a...

If you're doing the one with the deck in the same hand, try having the deck further back in the palm. Experiment with deck positions...

Try turning both hands clockwise a bit so the flipped packet will be parallel to the ground when flipped. It helped me and it may help you to! I figured that out while experimenting...:D
