Beveling fingers is what I do. Even with a little bit of window, due to the bevel, it looks more like shadow (not perfectly, but if in fairly constant motion, it looks quite alright).

I've seen Cyril using the idea of shadows moving the deck years ago (not personally, it was a TV special). I am certain that idea has been used prior. So given that it was 6 years ago I've seen it, it's been around.

As far as I'm concerned, I just made a bet with T11. If they win, they've gotten my 6.95+S&H. If I win, I won supposedly the best cards they've produced to this date. Either way is fine for me, sometimes making bets are what makes life interesting.

This is a first deck I'm buying from T11 in over 2 years. Not that T11 ever produced things that was disappointing, but being a poor (that'd be an understatement) student it's just been rough. I gotta say, I'm excited to see this.

There are two DVDs I'd say are pretty good for beginner. One is Metal and the other is In the beginning there were coins (Jay Noblezada). But there is a book that I would say have more value than either of them is Bobo's Book on coin magic.
