Lee Asher hasn't been mentioned I guess. His hands are pretty small too. He makes things work for him still, and even though I have pretty long fingers (though bony) and rather large palm, that doesn't mean I do any sleights better than him. I would say disadvantages are excuses to work harder.

Arguably, people won't even bother questioning why you aren't using washer. You just have to present/state it as you are getting into the effect. I can see people just taking your statement at face value and "cool, stuff with washer." Since you use washers, my only question is how is the edge...

What I used to do is had two coins (one in each hand) and classic palmed the coin and put that hands in my pockets and walked around like that. Then as time went on, added more coins, and at this point for me, I don't need this exercise any more, but this is how I got started.

I don't know about unique.... Doc Eason had a similar opener... Granted he doesn't show the cards being different in the beginning, but I can think of many different ways to modify that trick to accomplish the same effect. I don't want to be a downer, but I don't think it's all that marketable...
