Just ignore him and move on. Tell him that you won't continue performing around him, and your audience will take care of him. I have an essay on Hecklers here, I think it's worth the read if you have problems with it. Just do a quick search. It's called Heckers- The Essay.

Hey, I saw these things over at Penguin, and they look simply awesome. In case you don't want to venture over to the Bird, they are basically cards that visually change into a different card with heat. You seriously have to see the demo to believe it... it's more visual and looks a lot cleaner...

You are taking the complete wrong attitude towards the situation. Magic, especially in school, is purely about entertaining, not "showing up" the magician next to you. You are both magicians, and although you may not get along, you two should have a basic respect for you. This art is not...

It's not a hard thing to do. Just follow the instructions from the book to the letter. Then, once you get the effect down, you can modify it to fit your performance needs.

the-trilogy... CIBs are not different effects. They are just different methods. Just because they claim that the coin "melts" right through the bottle, it does not mean that it is a different effect. The effect is exactly the same... a coin goes into a bottle.

I personally grip it by the index corners, and use my thumb. I find that this has worked very well for me, but I think I'm going to have to give the other methods a try.
