I def wouldn't recommend putting the deck behind your back unless it's a part of the presentation... i mean why, looks suspicious I know what you mean though and sometimes people will just continuously burn your hands, but misdirection isn't always trying to get them to look away...

You would have to avoid putting it in your back, front and shirt pockets as a good pickpocket could quite easily get to them. Also as some said earlier... it's a bad idea to keep checking yourself as your basically yelling out "hey my wallets in my back pocket... and my house keys in my front!"...
