SIX New Releases + Free White Monarchs - Friday!

That sounds frustrating. But they did clarify earlier in this thread that your subtotal needs to be over said amounts. Discounts always come before subtotal. It sounds frustrating at first, but makes the most sense to do it this way (which is why [almost?] all businesses operate this way.

    Entertainment Value

Thanks for sharing about your gig. I really enjoy reading these. I think sleight of hand moves are like gimmicks - they should never be detected, and when used well, will create impossible effects. If your magic isn't relatively 'moveless', then it needs to look like it has no moves.

Saturday Night Contest - 30 Seconds of Change

    Opaque flash paper?

I think it must be possible. Didn't they once have dollar bills made of flash paper? So perhaps you are able to print on it or color it. People perhaps try different types of markers: sharpie, dry erase, washable etc.

    Arguing With Spectators

Wow. No, I have never, nor would I. Of course it would be very unprofessional to do something like that at a corporate event. Although at my last one, I was 'attacked' by a spectator over a spongeball...

    Performance nerves

Sorry I'm late to this (life is insane now - but I have a moment to post!) There's tons of amazing advice here, but I would add three things that help me: 1. Before I get to a show, I do some vocal excercises to warm up my voice. This helps relax my face and makes me a bit mroe confident. 2...
