    Spider pen

I love my Spider Pen. I love that it can be turned on and off. Without exposing too much, it's really good for making things float up and down instead of them just floating stationary in the air. I've also used it for a haunted deck routine where the deck separates at the chosen card and then...

    Covered Backslip Force Honest Review

I agree with everything said except for this. A force is a free choice to a layperson. That's the point of a force. I understand what you meant though. It doesn't matter what force you're using as long as the spectator thinks they had a free choice.

    Levitations

Honestly the Balducci has never failed me. Kills people every time. It's all about the presentation and the "fall". You've got to be convincing. As for Criss Angel's levitation vs. Icarus ... I'd say Icarus simply for the fact that it's viewed from the front. Seems like there's less you...

    After performing a bill switch

Usually I borrow a bill and most people are reluctant to give it to me. I convince them it's ok. I then change it into a higher denomination and tell them they should never trust a magician and that they should've held on to their "magic" bill. I then walk away a little bit richer.

    Best magic investment

I know this is going to sound funny, but honestly the best thing that has helped my magic become better exponentially is the book ... "Magic For Dummies". Don't let the title fool you, this book is gold. Yeah, there are a lot of "cheesy" tricks, but there are a few gems. But more than the tricks...

Stage illusion Designers... Who designs/builds your illusions?

I'm not a stage magician, but I know Roy Kueppers can just about build anything. You may want to check out his site or send him an email with your ideas.

    What got you into magic?

I was ten years old when I started doing magic. My grandma bought me one of those beginner magic sets at a garage sale. It was missing parts and pieces, so I had to improvise. The only trick I remember from it was a box that made a pink, rubber rabbit vanish.

    Grease marker or pencil lead?

Does a grease marker write like a regular marker or would there be obvious differences? Would I be better off just getting a pencil lead swami gimmick?

    Loops lightning

I think any lightning near your loops would be bad ... but you want to avoid very bright lighting while using loops.

Invisible Elastic Thread IET (INVISIBLEELASTIC) by Ehrich Weiss

Ehrich Weiss was also known as Harry Houdini. I would hope that whatever company is selling this IET, would be selling quality products under his name.

    My dream about Wayne Houchin...

Wouldn't he have spelled it 'humour'? Tempest, please don't attack my intellect. I still don't get it. Do you think I lost a bet and HAD to post that dream? I don't understand why I wouldn't have wanted to post it. There's nothing embarrassing in it.

    My dream about Wayne Houchin...

Well I work at a liquor store, so I'm sure that has something to do with beer invading my dreams.

    My dream about Wayne Houchin...

Yeah, me too. Wouldn't it be crazy if my dream knew the real method before I did?

    My dream about Wayne Houchin...

This is my dream from last night: It starts at my local mall. Wayne and a few (made up in my mind) magicians were signing autographs at Claire's (a cheap jewelry store for 9-15 year old girls). A group of about 20 of us who actually knew who Wayne was managed to climb to the ceiling of the...

    Floating Light Bulb Effect

There's so much to the floating light bulb. There is the 'zombie' type which would not be good for a talent show. There's also the Blackstone version, but it requires assistants and the notes are incomplete. I've been studying this effect for about a year and haven't come up with a practical...

Criss Angel's coin to glass routine?

Definately! I'm getting ready to leave for work, but I'll PM you when I get home tonight. We should brainstorm because my ideas aren't quite practical for real-world use just yet.

Criss Angel's coin to glass routine?

fridoliina, I have two methods I created myself. PM me if you're interested. Descriptions: 1. You put a deck of cards over the mouth of a glass. You put a coin on top of the deck. With one wave of the hand, the coin falls through the deck and into the glass. 2. You put a glass upside down...

    Can't... stop... staring

Maybe the red Guardians were one of the 'mess-ups' during the creation of the 2nd edition Guardians? That's my theory.
