So, you are meeting this girl for the first time...

If I am interested in a girl, I would like to get to know her a bit better, not magic. Reason is that I want her to define me as a human being.

    Diagonal Palm Shift

I am still working on the Diagonal Palm Shift, but you are right. This move has no cheating purpose at all, but you can use it as a control for your card magic. If Erdnase didn't write about the Diagonal Palm Shift description in Expert at The Card Table, we wouldn't even know today.

    Please help me...

Believe it or not, but when I first started card magic, and I actually vowed myself only to do with cards. Boy, was I wrong. Mastering the card magic sleights allows you to try new things. I suggest you to look into the Sponge Balls. One dvd that comes with a spongeball is Jay Noblezada...

    Magic as a Human

I think I understand this post. What this means that we should not let magic define ourselves, but we want people define us as a human being, a normal human being. Correct me if I am wrong.

    Card Game flourishes etc

Royal Road to Card magic book has some great flourishes. You don't mean cardistry like the Buck twins, right? If so, then RRCM is the best way to go because it has simple riffle shuffle, fanning, ribbion spread, and etc. Or, you could buy Expert Card Technique book. For sleights, I strongly...

    Some thoughts?

Extraordinary sleights takes time and practise. When we see moves that are too difficult to accomplish, we easily give them up. Thanks for reminding me of how much I should work onto hard sleights and to be patient with it.

    Card Forces

My favourite forces I like to perform are: -Classic Force (I am practising currently) -Overhand Shuffle Force -Riffle Force -Don't know what it is called, hoping that someone can give me the name. You start pretty much a riffle through the deck and tell them when to say stop. The magician...
