    Combo

Interesting combination of L cuts and repeating Carnahans. Would have been nice if you could have mixed them together somehow. Like running cards from the fan into an L cut type of thing. Just a suggestion. 4/5

    Patter suggestions

That helps a little bit. However, right now I am stuck with "Watch. Your card is in this pile and comes out the other." I would appreciate some suggestions so I could actually see what works for me and what doesn't.

    Cerca Trova Ideas

Two ideas. 1. What you do when you mess up. I don't know if this has been posted already though. 2. How you change your patter to adapt to certain audiences. For example, I wouldn't dumb it down for adults, nor would I try to confuddle kids. (yay i made a new word)

    Patter suggestions

I need some patter to go along with these tricks. I guess I just don't find the Bucks' patter very interesting. And also, I don't want my performance to be exactly the same as theirs. Any ideas? Subway Tivo 2.0 Collectors Deja Vu Thanks.

Your Most Polished Sleight And Other Sleights!

Ego Change, that Spread Control thing by the Buck Brothers, the Glide, and I can do double lifts decently. Working on the pass, though.

    No Cover Color Change

Definitely Shapeshifter. You can also try an Ego change. I find that it requires very little cover. Try the Snap Change as well, although it's angle-sensitive.

    Overhead Spring Questions...

Hmmm...corner grip seems kind of hard since my pinky's not that strong but I'll practice it. Thanks.

    Karnival: Released

Looks pretty creepy. I wouldn't be using them in my normal routines except for maybe stigmata by Wayne Houchin.

    Welcome to theory11, card artists!

Hey people. It's good to finally join a forum that's for card flourishing and stuff. =D I'm new to this forum, having only posted a couple things. Looks like a great place though. Also, I've only been flourishing for a few months, and I don't have any vids on youtube. Whatever. See...

    Overhead Spring Questions...

Darn. I measured again and found that my spring was like 8 or 9 inches instead. Oh well, I'll keep practicing...

October 2008 :: Applying Your Skills

Well, magic taught me sleight of hand, and I used sleight of hand the other day to win at ping pong. =O What else? I have a hobby now. Also, flourishing helps with finger dexterity since I play a musical instrument... Reply to Insert.Username.Here: It's secret.

    Your Longest Flourish

Springing cards well took me a few months to master. I'm finally starting to get the overhead spring down, though. Go easy on me, I'm a four month old newb to flourishing.

    Overhead Spring Questions...

Thanks! That helps a lot. Another question comes to mind, though. How far do you hold your hands above your head? I mean, on one hand it looks impressive to hold your hands really high, but it's also a lot harder. Good news, though: I did the overhead spring for some people today and...

    Overhead Spring Questions...

Hi fellow flourishers. I recently started flourishing, maybe a few months ago, so I'm new to both this forum and new to flourishing. This forum sounds like a great place to ask a few questions, so.... Basically, right now I have been working on the overhead spring by Jerry Cestkowski (the...

Wayne...that is a really amazing story. I really, really, really hate hecklers now.

    Your first flourish?

My first flourish was the card spring, because I saw a friend do it. I can do it about a foot now.

    Double lift issues...

Hey fellow card enthusiasts. I have a couple questions about doing double lifts: 1. What's the best way to turn over a double? I usually use my index and thumb to turn it over and place it halfway on the deck (toward me), but sometimes the end i'm not holding will split and expose the two...
