    Top 5 Impromptu Card Tricks?

Mine: 1. Stigmata 2. Tivo 2.0 3. Subway 4. Either Twinsplit Remix/Fission for aces, or Card to Mouth depending on the number of people watching. If it's just 1 I'll do twinsplit/fission for aces. If it's a few people I'll do card to mouth. If it's a crowd i'll do some other trick instead...

    Bicycle Tragic Royalty Playing Cards

Tragic royalty cards don't appeal to me for some reason...maybe it's just because of the cartoon theme on the cards.

    LePaul Spread Questions

Hi fellow flourishers, I'm currently working on the LePaul spread and a few questions came to mind: 1. How fast should you "spring" the cards off your left hand fingers? 2. When practicing springing cards one by one, should you practice with the thumb on top of the left hand packet, or...

    Revealing a Selected Card

Isn't Aaron Fisher's pop out move taught on the Trilogy? Or is that a different move?

Daniel Madison or Dan and Dave?

I guess if you want some status and respect you could go with the Trilogy. Some of the cuts in there are pretty hard.

Am I on the right road?

Royal Road to Card Magic is a great start, since it teaches many essential sleights. Maybe someone could check about this, but I think RRTCM (the book) is in the public domain as well...

    My Magic Show...

Try learning 2, 3, or 4 card monte. Or if its a small class, Ambitious Card routine. Good for small kids.

THREAD by Wayne Houchin - Teaser Video

I hope Wayne Houchin releases something like "Corner to Eye." Think Angle Zero, except you pull the corner out of your eye....

    Breaking the Barrier

It's called "Politics." It makes people look more amazing than they actually are. Sorry, had to throw a lawyer joke in there.

    Breaking the Barrier

I usually do a couple things for hecklers.... 1. Hedberg's peak. I won't expose it here, look up the performance on the internet. 2. Usually, I force a card and control it to the top. Next, I turnover a double, and say that this is their card. The heckler will obviously say no, and (of...

Am I on the right road?

I agree. :D Even if you don't like the tricks taught, you can still learn and use the sleights, productions, changes, etc...and it's only $30, which is reasonably cheap for me, anyway...

    Angle Zero - Your ideas?

Stick the torn corner in your ear. Or better yet, stick it up your nose. Then you can "accidentally" sneeze, and the corner will fly out.

    Forces

FLOOP, by Simon Lovell, is taught on D&D's Trilogy disc 1. I'll PM you about the dribble force.

    "Do a trick."

These Trilogy tricks seem to get the best reactions for me: Tivo 2.0 (my favorite - it's easy to do and it's pretty visual.) Subway (good because it's angleproof...hope that wasn't exposure) Card to Mouth Twinsplit Remix / Fission for Aces (hard to pull off, but it's pretty cool) Also...

    Forces

Try the spread force in one of D&D's manuals...forgot what one. Anyway, that one's pretty deceptive and useful. You could use FLOOP to force the bottom card. Or try the lepaul bluff pass to force the card 2nd from top. Or even a dribble force.

    Rear palming

Sounds good. So how useful is this palm in regard to other types of palming such as the classic, tenkai, etc.?
  18. jazzhands1

    Rear palming

I'm refering to the Rear palm as described in Expert Card Technique.

    Rear palming

Okay, so I've been practicing the rear palm lately, but I've been having some issues. Couple questions: Is a rear palmed card supposed to warp a bit, or does it lie completely flat on the palm of the hand? Also, what's the best angle to show a rear palmed card? Thanks.

    What's Your Favorite Deck?

Right now, I like my S&M decks and my shadowmasters. And using rider backs for practice.
