    Loops

http://www.subdividedstudios.com/products.html check this out. I own the massive system and after the initial investment, I have a lifetime supply. Also the Legacy 2.0 thread supplied is stronger than "Loops" also check out EVE by Steve Fearson - 3 strands thick, can be stripped to 1 or 2 so...

    Bobo. Help please!

I dont see it as negative or as a slam, but if the OP is overwhelmed by the slights in the book as he stated in not so many words. A dvd companion would be a great way to not only read the slight but to see it done properly. The magicmakers dvd set is voted as best Bobo set on many threads of...

    Colored Decks

I may have not clearly understood original question. Are these whole gaff decks or just regular decks with a couple odd gaffs thrown in like a double back, blank face, 2 different pips on one card...?

    coin shell is too noisy

Roy Keuppers is probably in the top 5 for sure but if you are just starting out, I would suggest Johnson Brand gaffs. They are the best bang for your buck and definately the working mans coin sets - great quality at a reasonable price. most of my gaffs are Johnson that I am still using after 20...

Classic Palm - Please Please Help Me!!! Please!!

I primarily use US Walking Liberty Half Dollars. I own about 6 regular ones in mid-grade condition. Just enough to get a little resin in the small amount of milling still left. (perfect for magic and I own a boatload of gaffs in Walkers). I put too much resin on a fairly new Kennedy half and it...

    Bee card clips

Bee Stock is thicker to stand up to "casino" type use. Richard Turner sells Bicycle Cards Printed on Bee Stock (at a premium) but they are some darn good cards to work with. As for a clip or protection and flattening of your cards. you could invest a few bucks into a set of Shuber Plates...

    Mirror VS. Spectator

I have a large folding hard plastic TV tray from Walmart with a large Professional Close-Up Mat (BURGUNDY - 16x23) by Ronjo with nice wood base and trim around 3/4. fits on tray perfectly. tray works sitting or standing comfortably. I went to a Dollar Tree store (everything in the store is $1 or...

Classic Palm - Please Please Help Me!!! Please!!

you can rub the edges of your coins onto some Violin Resin from any music store. this will help the coin stay in place with almost any hand condition (too sweaty, too dry...) but experiment with the amount you use once you get it down because if you use too much it can hold too strong to release...

    Learning The Muscle Pass

I agree, Months if not years to look great and accurate. the David Kong DVD is the best I have seen on the muscle pass, there is also one by Jay Noblezada. not sure if it is as good as the Kong DVD which came highly recommended to me of the two.

    Coin in bottle

also, don't overlook the value of a folding coin to your gaff collection - great for coin in bottle as well as other effects. As for un-gaffed, Bullet coin thru Bottle (Ellusionist I believe) is a great way to do the effect and end clean.

    coins size?

larger coins are more noticeable from a distance but keep in mind, half dollar sized coins are larger than quarters and in my opinion the best size to start with. It is a good median to the other size coins you will eventually work with so I suggest getting a few good slights down with halves...

    Where can I learn this?

It was part of Conjuring Arts Summer Reading Program - you had to be on their mailing list and they gave a free PDF magic book each week of this summer with the Tarbell set being the last hoorah. It is beautifully reproduced and crisp clear copy w/illistrations, not just a lousy photocopy. Glad...

    Colored Decks

most gaff decks do not come with instructions. they are usually an assortment of often used gaffs that need replaced like a double backer or a blank face. Often times there will be unusual gaffs thrown in to let your creative juices flow and make your own routine utilizing the gaff. on the...

    Best Coin Magician

I know it's an old thread, but I am a new member. SO... here goes. There are many Great Coin Magicians, many of which we may never know of. (pre-Bobo guys). Some are Permanently etched in our minds as Great such as all who participated in the NYCMS series. And many "underground" guys that came...

    Blake Vogt Card Splitting

It is late September and I just got this video download. After already going through Magic Makers "The Art of Card Splitting" many times and using "Cannibal" by Kevin Reylek with some great streamline ideas for splitting, I came across this gem and must say - "Wow, this is some informative stuff...
