Seriously, release more stuff from this guy. I was totally fooled by some of the stuff on his blog, his tricks are just right for your one on one section. Also, 365 days of magic would make an epic DVD project, just saying.

A few things I like to do: -Go through an old craft box or knic knac (sp?) drawer and examine some random items. Think about how they function, what purpose they serve, et cetera. Break down an item in your mind and think about how it could operate in a card trick, or just use its properties...

Well, I don't perform coin magic so I don't know who has best technique. But I most enjoy watching Ponta the Smith (hes just ridiculous) and Eric Jones. Also Slydini was pretty incredible with coins.

Yeah, looks good. I wouldn't be performing all of this stuff yet, just a bit more naturalness and fluidity will make this entirely performable.

If an effect is particularly strong, clean-up becomes particularly easy, and unnecessary. The more impact an effect has, the less people will focus on any objects no longer in play, hopefully you have your routine structured in a way that leaves the "dirty" deck as an object no longer in use at...

Does anyone happen to have any links to footage of this guy performing or performances of any of the effects. The book and dvd seem to be a good deal, but I prefer to see a little about this guys work before I order anything.

I second the Daniel Madison Infliction comment. The gimmick is home-made and super subtle (like, Static subtle). setup is very little and it's super practical. Super cheap also, as it is only ONE effect off of that whole e-book.

Probably the reason that there are so few reviews is the massive amount of material on this DVD. It's overwhelming to think of giving ones entire opinion on each section of it. At least for me anyways, I'll hopefully get one up in a week or so.
