A New way to link Rubberbands

I've been doing way to much thinking lately but I believe I figured out a legitimate way to perform one of the most notorious in the hands close up illusions of all time. I stumbled across this solution by accident! Many magicians have been searching for a way to link RubberBands since they where created. I figured out how to do it without overlapping or having hidden pieces behind the fingers. No Magnets, no strings, no glue, no heat... This is "The Link" feel free to let me know what You think! Anyone Interested in marketing this let me know in the comments below or PM me.

I've been advised not to release my treasured effects because I have a touring show coming soon. This trick I am interested in marketing though.

I really love many of your other videos but i have to say that I don't love this. The handling looks very messy and confused. I looked like you were trying to solve a puzzle more than do magic. I does have a very nice display of the liked rubber bands though and I'm sure you could fix the handling issue. My other problem is not with your video but the general concept of linking rubber bands. There's is not justification or reason to be linking two object that no one cares about other than magicians. I love linking affects but linking rubber bands doesn't really make any sense to me. I would love to hear you thought on my comments.

Fair enough, but if you ever do decide to put out some of those tricks i'll be first in line.

But i have too agree with Isaac here. and ask again, Gimmicked rubber bands? if so then there are cleaner looking effects already out there

That looks EXTREMELY solid, in my opinion. I agree the handling could use some cleanup, but I'm sure with some time and attention it'll come.

Also, it's nice to see someone who appreciates and respects their own work enough to wait before marketing a personally crafted effect, even if it would probably sell well.

I'm not sure as to what the method is but would it allow for one band to be linked into other objects? rings keys etc. As I said I don't like linking rubber band affects but if you trick could be reapplied to be an object in rubber band that would be pretty sweet.

I agree with you guys completely about the choppy handling. This is a piece of a blog video I made on ideas I started and needed to develop. This month it has been my favorite. I want to create a better video demonstrating this trick. The bands can be linked by tossing one onto the other. I want the spectator to be holding the other one! When I figure that out I will follow up with a reply here!

This looks really good and i am interested in learning it if you decide to market it. The one question i wanted to ask is if the spectator can examine the rubber bands while they are linked? From the video it appears that they would be able to but i figured i would ask just to be sure.
