We all have people we consider to be masters of our art. They are nearly flawless. They make things look easy. They are the people we look up to. Today's topic - How did they get there? What did they do to become great? What do they do now that causes us to consider them great? What can we learn from them? How do we go about becoming masters of anything in life?

As always, the topic is wide open. The floor is yours.

Let's hear it.

I will just answer "How do we go about becoming masters of anything in life?"

Practice, Practice, Practice, Practice.. and wait.. More Practice. One area that i can relate to is Rubik Cubing. The only way to become a master is to solve it 1000's and 1000's of times. Also knowing what to practice and how to practice helps a lot. From what i can see it seems that people who put more time into there art become the masters.

By being a dedicated student of the subject at hand. Read all you can of it, learn its history, its classics, the theory behind it.

Then practice as much as you can.

Passion and Dedication...

If you have the passion, then you will dedicate yourself. If you are dedicated, you will always have the passion.

But don't forget, practice does NOT make perfect, practice makes PERMANENT.
