They were offering it. The Michael Ammar is still on their site. I wonder if they stopped selling them after how many people were upset that the last one wasn;t a lecture but more of Joshua Jay talking for and hour and a half and Ammar talking for thrity minutes. I'll send an email off to Acar

It wasn't a "Bad" lecture, it was just that Michael Ammar even mentioned that he had 4 other things he wanted to get to, but couldn't because the time constraint. And yeah, Joshua Jay did kind of talk a bit too much during it. I also think the Penguin lectures have spoiled some people with the 4-5 hour long lectures, while this was only 2 hours (with maybe 30 min of magic.)

I enjoyed it, but did wish there was more to it. Specially seeing has it was Michael Ammar and was hoping he would have some other effects and routines that he was going to explain. (too bad the Pencil Through Coin most likely won't be out for a very long time. )

Me and Josh are about the same age and are from the same part of Ohio. He liked to talk a lot back then as well. I think it would be better if He was there to push the magician along if the start to ramble, not to interview (which is what he is calling it) and then fit in a trick or two. It's not worth the same price as a Penguin or even in person lecture.

That is true and there are quite a few magicians who tend to ramble and get off topic pretty fast. Roberto Giobbi had a habit of doing it during his lecture, David Williamson did (but it actually made the lecture much more entertaining and interesting.)

I thought it was funny when he was talking about how innovative the whole idea is when penguin has been doing it for years. Granted the had their second camera above the table.;-)
