If you are going to keep justyfing yourself and not listening, then, Im wasting my time here, I actually thught you were going to put some effort from your part. Sad thing. I dont want to be part of this anymore, good luck with your "fun".
The implication being that artistic merit and fun must be kept on opposite sides of an electric fence for some arbitrary reason?
Case in point. RD is dedicated to what he does and enjoys it, but not at the expense of forgetting that magic is theater. You lose people like this when you dedicate yourself to mediocrity under the rationalization of "good times" and such.
I made it very clear from the beginning what kind of project this is. I will put all my effort into this.

The criticism levied here is constructive. This project is still in a formative enough stage that you can improve it!
Is the message that you want to send out that the young magic community is nothing but a bunch of kids wanting people to applaud them for showing off?
Is the message you want to send out that the modern world of magic as an art form is just a vacuous nothingness devoid of any political or artistic meaning?
Is that what you want to put 'all of your effort' into?
All anyone's saying is, give it some thought. There are very important positive things that can be said about the modern magic community. Daily people come here and interact with people from Singapore, China, Europe, the US, Australia, South America, all with the common uniting love of magic.
The young magic community through flourishing, and the style of highly visual magic has made a difference to the magic community. A bunch of 15 second vidoes showing kids doing Cardini changes hardly captures the progression that's taken place in modern magic.
Are you thinking about what worldwide magical collaboration -has- enabled?
No. You just want to have fun? Well your fun is actually borderline slandering what I'd like to think that most that take their magic seriously see in magic.
But as it is, you've just decided that you're right, and some Youtube magic porn is the way forward.
Magic is a tremendous hook to make a point......if used correctly. You're just not making any point. I'm disappointed that you can pull something like this together, but do nothing with it but make a non statement.
You do magic no credit. It's -not- too late though. You've got resources here like Steer, visual artist, RD, Morgician etc who would help you I'm sure out of a love of the art if nothing else to make this what it could be, but instead you just rubbish their very insightful critique of the concept and settle for total mediocrity. I don't have an issue with you wasting your own time, but you're doing magic no favors, and that irritates me.
