I recently got hold of a pack of Vintage Bicycle New Fan Back cards and have been trying to date them.
Unfortunatley there is no tax stamp on the box to verify but there of course is a code on the ace of spades which has a prefix E1330. After a little research it seems that the USPC E dating code (see link below) refers to cards produced in 1923, 1943, 1963, 1983 & 2003.
By the look of the cards I'm pretty sure that they are not the 2 latter dates and my gut feeling is they coud be made in the 1960's although I'm no expert.
Any ideas?
