Cardini Snap Change

So I'm working on a few tricks from The Trilogy, adding new handling and moves to suit my style but when I come to do a cardini snap change I cant clip the card with my pinky. Is this a big deal or can I get away with out doing it? If not then are there any ways of making it easier?

You could try a regular Cardini change. My understanding is that in the snap, the ring and pinky clip the card, but in a Cardini, the pinky simply pops the card out. Daniel Garcia's Ego Change is another version of the Cardini change, if you're familiar with that.
