What would you guys do if, in any kind of location or situation, someone asks you to show them a trick?(they might know you or heard what it is you do)
BUT you dont have cards or loops with you?
What would you show them?

For those who do always have cards with them(like me) but no gimmicks or a set-up.what would you show them?

There is already a ton of threads on this... I guess I would do coin magic.

sorry about that then.i didnt bother to search cause my computer freezes everytime i try.
but one could do stigmata.
or old school chink-a-chink with beer caps if people are drinking.
I meant to write in the post as in a situation where you wouldnt know you were going to perform magic.

If I have no cards then I will not perform, i'm not going to perform some mediocre routine completely unprepared just because i've been asked to. This is unlikely to be a problem though as I take a deck of cards with me everywhere.

hows it stupid.
its a real life situation that can happen.
okay how about..your either at a restaurant or at someones home.
just those two places.

Psychokinetic Silverware would be good or a simple french drop with a quarter. This is a pretty pointless thread.

Although, I think he might be a amateur magician sooooooooo, I do give him props for asking questions. Everybody has questions, Heck I still have questions. I have been a magician for many years.

Please don't bash him, he only has questions.

I too have encountered this problem, and I think you are justified in seeking an answer here. Personally, I almost always carry a deck that is stacked or marked. It is easy enough to use as a normal deck, and it provides a strong base to build magic upon. Another impromptu effect I've found that I like was something I saw Bill Malone perform with the 4 aces. It is simple and direct, and resembles the 2 card monte than you may recognize. A last bit of advice I will give you is simple to carry a card in your wallet. I love to have them select a card, only to show it missing from the deck after betting my wallet that I can find their card.

I guess, to be honest, I've just learned to always be semi-prepared.

edit: Oh, and I forgot, I have grown quite fond of the card to mouth taught on the Trilogy DvDs.

:) Peace
